Fire drills are practiced regularly at the Dreilinden Oberschule. In case of an actual fire, the follow rules are to be observed:

1. The fire alarm will buzz loudly at regular intervals.

2. Stay calm.

3. Close the windows when leaving a room!

Close the doors, but do not lock them!

Take your textbooks and school supplies with you!

Following your teacher’s directions and go as a group to the practice field/basketball court.

Escape route: closest stairwell or courtyard entrance

- to leave the school foyer: use the main door to Dreilinden Street

- to leave the assembly hall: Use the emergency exit to the delivery courtyard

Everyone should gather at the basketball court

Do not block the entrances to the courtyard or the school

Each class or group of students should stay together until told otherwise!

Classroom teachers should report to the responsible teacher, who will be standing at the ping-pong tables, that all their students have left the building and are accounted for (give the number of students present).

Three bells will signal the end of the fire drill/fire alarm.
